Wire Transfers

Send your next Wire Transfer with RTP Federal Credit Union and avoid high fees. Wire requests must be made in person at one of our branch locations. You may also be required to present supplemental information pertaining to the wire transfer. You will need the following information to send a wire transfer:

If you are sending a Wire Transfer:

Domestic wire requests received before 1:00 pm EST, will be processed the same business day. If we receive your domestic wire transfer request after 1:00 pm EST, it will be processed the next business day. It is encouraged to call ahead to schedule an appointment for all wire transfers.

International wire requests received before 12:00 pm EST, will be processed the same business day. If we receive your international wire transfer request after 12:00 pm EST, it will be processed the next business day. It is encouraged to call ahead to schedule an appointment for all wire transfers.

If you are receiving a Wire Transfer:

If you are receiving a wire transfer from another institution, it will be posted to your RTP Federal Credit Union account on the same business day if we receive the funds before 4:00 pm EST. Wire transfers received after 4:00 pm EST will be posted to your account on the next business day.
